It Only Takes A Minute

I was given this little bit of encouragement and thought I would share with you. I like how it makes you think, how it makes you feel and how it gives you direction.

It Only Takes A Minute

by Robin Sharma

It only takes a minute to tell a loved one you adore them …

It only takes a minute to run towards a fear …

It only takes a minute to set a big goal …

It only takes a minute to drink a glass of water …

It only takes a minute to read a great idea (that just might rock your world) …

It only takes a minute to write the most beautiful thank you note you have ever sent your loved ones (or a teammate or a customer or a high school teacher who blessed your life) …

It only takes a minute to smile …

It only takes a minute to connect to a friend or a co-worker …

It only takes a minute to help a human being in need …

It only takes a minute to raise your standards to world- class …

It only takes a minute to go the extra mile at work and wow a customer …

It only takes a minute to reflect on what you can do today to be better than you were yesterday …

It only takes a minute to embrace change …

It only takes a minute to make a new choice that will lead to your best life …

Make the best of your minutes.

Each one of them makes up your life.

I hope you found this inspirational and thoughtful. Please leave a comment, I would love to hear how you are filling your minutes to make up your life!

How To Make Your Content Go Viral

There are some very crafty people out there that have contagious content.

How do they do that? Do they know a secret that you don’t know?

Actually yes they do!

Whether they are aware of it, or not, they know how to push the buttons that
turns on the internet traffic every time!

So What makes content go viral?

Here are three basic but effective ways.

1. Positive content is more viral than negative content.
Think about that for a second … do you share sad or disturbing videos or articles
on your social pages? Do you watch the news to see what awful things happened that day?
Or do you share that funny video you found on YouTube or the cute picture of your puppy?

2. Content that stirs up strong emotions is more viral than content without an emotional response. Emotions like – shock or anger. Think political messages.

3. Useful content get’s shared.
People like sharing useful content to help out their fans and friends. Some of this type of content are how to’s and tips.

How does one create contagious or viral content?

Well there are few ways to focus your content.

Positive and inspirational content will always be shared. There are many unhappy people who can be pulled out of a funk, if only for a short while, with something uplifting.

To generate traffic for a business focus you might consider more practical or useful content that activate high emotions.

How does one prepare useful content with a high emotional response?

Once you write and edit your article there is one more step.

There is?

Yes there is. After the article is finished and edited, you must determine what the next action you want your readers to take. This is powerful. People are bad at applying broad concepts to their own lives. That’s why giving them a simple next step works. It shows them exactly how to use the content you just gave them in their lives. And they use it, get results and remember they got it from you.

What about activating the high emotional responses?

As I stated earlier, stirring up strong emotions, positive or negative, work. While it is simple to activate these emotions you want to target them perfectly. Once you know what triggers a specific emotion then it’s easier to do.

So overall there are two things I want you to remember.

1. When focusing your content to get traffic to a business website you should show the viewers how to implement the information that you give them. Give them examples and give them next step actions.

2. Don’t write content just for the sake of writing content. Always target what high emotion you would like to create so you know that your content will be shared.

These are tested and proven strategies.

Now how are you going to uses these strategies for your business? I would love to hear how they work for you – leave a comment below or share it on Facebook or Twitter.

Finding Your “Sweet Spot” With The Happiness Advantage

Making Your Brain Work Better Is The Key

Happiness is determined by how your brain processes the world.

Studies show that 25% of job successes are predicted by IQ levels but 75%  of successes are predicted by optimism levels, social support and the ability to see stress as a challenge instead of a threat.

This ignites the idea to reverse the formula for happiness and success. If happiness is on the opposite side of success, then the brain never gets there. Our brains work in the opposite order.

The Happiness Advantage

If the level of positivity is increased in the present then the brain experiences The Happiness Advantage. This means your brain performs significantly better than at neutral or stressed. Every single business outcome improves.

In the video below, Shawn Anchor talks about the science of The Happiness Advantage in more detail.

I challenge you to find your “Sweet Spot” with The Happiness Advantage. A few ideas are to exercise, meditate or take a vacation.

Always in abundance,

Get Rewarded To Watch TV

When was the last time you were rewarded to watch your favorite TV shows?

I am sure you’ve heard your parents say: “Watching TV is wasting time” or “TV just sucks out your brain cells” or some negative comment about watching television.

Did you know that visual advertising is one of the top, most effective ways
to reach customers? Why do you think that a commercial spot during the
Superbowl is at such a high price? More viewers see those commercials than any other time. Arguable more than any other event on tv!

But what if watching TV can actually be a benefit??

You are already watching the shows and you are already going to watch the
next episode of that show the following week, right? You know you will. I will too. Do the advertisers pay you to watch their commercials? Do the producers and studio executives pay you to watch the show and every show throughout the season?

I am certain the answer is NO. (If they are, then let me know how you got that gig!!!)

There is a way that you can get something for watching your favorite shows. There is a way that you can get great rewards for doing something you already do and have been doing and probably will continue to do.

Viggle.

If you have an iPod Touch or an iPad, you can reap the rewards.

This is a really cool app!! And … it’s simple.
There are only 3 steps you have to do.

If all you do is watch your favorite TV show and Viggle, wouldn’t it be worth it? YES!

Get the Viggle App – watch TV and enjoy the rewards!!
