There are some very crafty people out there that have contagious content.
How do they do that? Do they know a secret that you don’t know?
Actually yes they do!
Whether they are aware of it, or not, they know how to push the buttons that
turns on the internet traffic every time!
So What makes content go viral?
Here are three basic but effective ways.
1. Positive content is more viral than negative content.
Think about that for a second … do you share sad or disturbing videos or articles
on your social pages? Do you watch the news to see what awful things happened that day?
Or do you share that funny video you found on YouTube or the cute picture of your puppy?
2. Content that stirs up strong emotions is more viral than content without an emotional response. Emotions like – shock or anger. Think political messages.
3. Useful content get’s shared.
People like sharing useful content to help out their fans and friends. Some of this type of content are how to’s and tips.
How does one create contagious or viral content?
Well there are few ways to focus your content.
Positive and inspirational content will always be shared. There are many unhappy people who can be pulled out of a funk, if only for a short while, with something uplifting.
To generate traffic for a business focus you might consider more practical or useful content that activate high emotions.
How does one prepare useful content with a high emotional response?
Once you write and edit your article there is one more step.
There is?
Yes there is. After the article is finished and edited, you must determine what the next action you want your readers to take. This is powerful. People are bad at applying broad concepts to their own lives. That’s why giving them a simple next step works. It shows them exactly how to use the content you just gave them in their lives. And they use it, get results and remember they got it from you.
What about activating the high emotional responses?
As I stated earlier, stirring up strong emotions, positive or negative, work. While it is simple to activate these emotions you want to target them perfectly. Once you know what triggers a specific emotion then it’s easier to do.
So overall there are two things I want you to remember.
1. When focusing your content to get traffic to a business website you should show the viewers how to implement the information that you give them. Give them examples and give them next step actions.
2. Don’t write content just for the sake of writing content. Always target what high emotion you would like to create so you know that your content will be shared.
These are tested and proven strategies.

Always in abundance,
